Troll Fest at Memphis Botanic Garden

Whimsy and fun await! Join us at Troll Fest at the Garden on April 5 from 10 am-4 pm. This event celebrates the Troll’s mission to help us live more mindfully and better care for our environment. Fun for all ages! Free with Garden admission. No reservations required.

-Trolls with a Message: Meet these larger-than-life Trolls, each designed to inspire sustainable living and mindful choices. You’ll learn simple ways to make a big difference for the planet!


-Fun for All Ages: Get your hands dirty with crafts, challenge your friends to games, enjoy family-friendly music from Andrew Best, and explore the Garden’s 96 acres including Bringing Nature Back tours of our Arboretum with Horticulturist Bella Kirkpatrick.

-Community Partners: Chat with Memphis organizations dedicated to sustainability, health, and making our city a better place to live — and find out how you can get involved! Partners include: Clean Memphis, Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC), Center for Applied Earth Science and Engineering (CAESAR), Protect our Aquifer, Binghampton Development Corporation (BDC), Tennessee Native Plant Society, Nonconnah Creek Conservancy, Mississippi Wildlife Rehabilitation, Compost Fairy, Young, Gifted & Green, Wild Birds Unlimited, Sprouts.

-Tasty Treats: Grab lunch from one of the food vendors on-site including Rockin Rodney’s, Good Groceries Mobile Diner, Snowbirds Frozen Treats, Mexico in Memphis, and Hot-n-Heavy Dogs.

-Shop Sustainably: Peruse environmentally friendly vendors selling recycled jewelry, bird feeders, and more.

-Local Artists: Enjoy artwork on display using recycled & found materials.
