Independence Day Goat Yoga

What is goat yoga?
We get this question a lot when people first hear about our goat yoga sessions here in Rossville (just minutes from the Memphis area).
Yoga is typically structured and relaxing, but the added benefits of goat yoga make it a low stress environment where you can relax your body and mind while surrounded by goats. You don’t have to worry about your flexibility or if you’re doing each pose correctly knowing that everyone’s eyes are on the fun shenanigans of the goats and not on you.

Our sessions are booked for an hour of time with about 25-30 minutes of basic beginner yoga poses. It’s a kind of a “go with the flow” session where it’s a little bit of exercise and a lot of fun! Some of goats will even jump up on you while doing yoga poses! But don’t worry, the goats are lightweight and very friendly. You’ll be sure to have a lot of laughs and leave feeling relaxed and entertained.
We provide the yoga mats and the goats. You just need to come wearing clothing that you don’t mind getting goat hair (and possibly hoof prints) on. We recommend that you dress appropriately for the outside temperature and avoid wearing loose/dangly jewelry.
Our goat yoga is hosted in an uncovered outside paddock, so if it rains we will have to cancel your scheduled session. We will refund your money if you have prepaid, or contact you to reschedule.
There are no public bathrooms on property, so please make arrangements before arriving. We do have a hand washing station available.
