Lucas St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Cooper-Young
Memphis, TN — The Lucas St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Cooper-Young, presented by the Memphis Irish Society, returns on March 17, 2026, bringing green, gold, and community spirit to one of Memphis’s most beloved neighborhoods. As the only parade held on St. Patrick’s Day, this annual tradition invites the entire city to celebrate Irish culture, music, and connection.
This year’s parade kicks off an especially meaningful season, as Ireland is the Honored Country for Memphis in May—making St. Patrick’s Day Parade the perfect way to launch a citywide celebration of Ireland.
Event Details
- Line-Up: 4:30 PM
- Parade Start: 5:00 PM
- Route: From York Avenue, south on Cooper Street, ending at Walker Avenue
- Post Parade Party Headquarters: Celtic Crossing
The parade will feature festive floats, marching bands, dancers, bagpipes, and family-friendly fun, all set against the vibrant backdrop of Cooper-Young.

Businesses, organizations, and community groups are invited to sponsor or march in the parade. Sponsors and Participants may also support the Bog Jog 5K, taking place March 14, 2026 at 8:00 AM, benefiting the Memphis Irish Society.
