Last Whistle: Steamboat Stories of Memphis is open daily to the public from 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. through June 26, 2026 at the Pink Palace Museum & Mansion. In 2024, the Museums of Science & History (MoSH) acquired the boat model collection from the Mud Island River Museum. Last Whistle: Steamboat Stories of Memphis features a few of these models and explores the history of the iconic steamboats that docked at the city.

From tiny insects to a raptor-like Masiakasaurus, explore and come face to face with these amazing creatures.

The 130-seat theater-in-the-round, located on the grounds of the Pink Palace Museum & Mansion, uses the latest planetarium technology to project star fields, visual images and patterns on a domed ceiling. Augmented by a superb sound system, daily planetarium programs are a treat for the eyes and ears.
