54th Annual Pink Palace Crafts Fair | What’s happening in Memphis

54th Annual Pink Palace Crafts Fair

First held in 1973, the Pink Palace Crafts Fair has been the high point of the fall season in Memphis for 50 years. The first fair featured around 30 craftsmen set up on the lawn in front of the mansion. Over the next two decades, the Pink Palace Crafts Fair grew into a major event with added fine craftsmen, traditional craft demonstrations, music, children’s activities and traditional cooking demonstrations. When the museum grounds couldn’t contain the thousands of fans who came each year, the Friends moved the fair to Audubon Park. It is now the largest juried arts and crafts fair in the Mid-South. This year, we are pleased to announce that the Pink Palace Crafts Fair is returning home to the Pink Palace Museum & Mansion for its 54th year from September 25–27, 2026.

Visitors will find a variety of eclectic pottery, jewelry, 2-D art, glass, wood, leather, sculpture, fiber and so much more. In addition to browsing and purchasing creations from over 150 artisans from around the country, Pink Palace Crafts Fair ticketholders will gain free admission to the Pink Palace Museum & Mansion’s permanent collections on the date of their ticket. In addition, $5 add-ons for the Planetarium, Giant Screen Theater, and Brick Dinos traveling exhibitions will be available for purchase.

The fair attracts artists from across the country and features shopping, demonstrations, food, and family activities with thousands of visitors over the three days. To accommodate anticipated crowds, the Pink Palace Crafts Fair will offer University of Memphis satellite parking with shuttle service between the campus and museum.
